This Fulmer Copper Roller Single Joint Snaffle has alternating copper rollers set in the mouth piece.

These rollers are to aid and  encourage the horse to soften his mouth by accepting a bit.

The Fulmer cheek pieces provided a clear signal to the horse for flexion and turning, as well as not allowing the bit to be pulled through the mouth.

In order for this bit to be used correctly, it should be fitted to a bridle with Fulmer keepers.
