Secondhand tack sales – Need some extra cash? Dust off your unused tack and bring it into our second-hand department for resale. We work on a consignment structure that allows you flexibility in dealing in your second-hand goods. Contact us for further details, terms and conditions.

Repairs & Cleaning

We offer a range of tack repair and cleaning services offsite, in reputable workshops that are skilled in fixing your equipment. Each item is invoiced in accordance with amount of repair work carried out, contact us for a quotation.

Tack Fitting

Need a new saddle or looking for a special bit and bridle? We can assist our clients with all these tack fitting requirements on site within a 25 km radius of our store. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements, and fee structure.

How does deliver work when ordering online?

When making a purchase online at checkout you have two options available, collect in store as well as courier straight to your door.

We support one of the largest and most trusted payment gateways namely AppturePay, the platform offers you the highest level of security so you can assured all payments are secure.

Do you prefer to shop instore?

No problem at all, Stable Gate offers its clients both a retail store based in Benoni and a fully stocked online store.

How long does delivery take?

StableGate offers 3 (three) methods of delivery of Goods to you. You may elect delivery via:
Courier, self-collection, South African post or PostNet style services

Our delivery charges are subject to change at any time, without prior notice to you, so please check the FAQs for the most up-to-date information. You will see the applicable delivery charges in your cart when you check out.
Where it accepts your order, StableGate will deliver the Goods to you as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than 30 (thirty) days of receipt of your payment (“Delivery Period”). We will notify you if we are unable to deliver the Goods during the Delivery Period. You may then, within 7 (seven) days of receiving such a written notification elect whether to cancel your order for the Goods. If you elect to cancel your order, we will reimburse you for the purchase price.
StableGate’s obligation to deliver a product to you is fulfilled once the appointed service provider / person has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you for delivery of the order. StableGate is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product, after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you or if the goods where collected in store.
Online orders can be collected from our Benoni Shop at no additional charge, unless special arrangements, to have goods specially shipped or express delivered to StableGate, at which the arrangements will have been made in writing and accepted by before order is completed.
Online orders will be charged a delivery fee according to our appointed courier service, the SA Post Office or Postnet rates. The delivery fee is calculated based on the parcel’s volumetric weight and destination.
Any returns fees in all cases will be for the purchaser’s account.
